Japan’s Act on the Promotion of Female Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace, as amended, requires that covered employers file action plans with the Ministry of Health, Labor & Welfare of Japan (MHLW). For employers with more than 301 employees, these action plans must include pay gap information. The action plans are due within three months of the end of the employer’s fiscal year.
