Italy pay gap reporting

Italy’s Equal Pay Law (Legislative Decree No. 198/2006), amended by Law No.162/2021, requires employers with more than 50 employees to prepare a report on gender equality every other year. This report must outline pay differences between men and women and information related to hiring, training, and promotions. As an EU Member State, Italy’s pay gap reporting obligations will be modified by the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
