In Italy, employers with more than 50 employees must report every two years on gender equality in the workplace, including information on the number of male and female employees, the number of men and women hired over the period, differences in pay, level of enrollment, and job title.
With respect to pay, employers must provide the following metrics:
- Total number of employees as of the last day of the two-year reporting period and number of women
- Initial gross annual salary (first day of two-year reporting period) by professional category and level of employment, broken out by gender
- Ending gross annual salary (last day of two-year reporting period) by professional category and level of employment, broken out by gender
- Detail on additional salary components
For customers using Syndio’s Global Pay Reports, we offer a thorough breakdown of the necessary pay data to simplify the preparation of your Italy report.
Employers will also be required to report on hiring, training, promotions, discipline, and termination, and other efforts.
